Description
A small tea cup from Jingdezhen, with silver glaze brushed across the surface.
The form is almost ordinary: a small mouth, a wider base, a weight that belongs to the hand. It is the kind of cup used for short pours of tea, where each serving is only a few sips.
What changes it is the silver. Not a full covering, but a brushed trace — light moving over the ceramic body like a thin layer of weather, or a small mark left by the hand. Some parts remain quiet and clay-like; others catch the room for a second.
It is a cup for gongfu tea, but also for noticing how a surface changes when it is held, used, rinsed, and used again.

How to Care
Hand wash gently with warm water and a soft sponge. Avoid dishwasher use, microwave use, sudden temperature changes, and soaking for long periods.
The brushed silver glaze may oxidise, darken, or develop small marks over time. Dry fully after use with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges, metal utensils, strong detergents, and cleaners containing sulfur.
If you prefer a brighter surface, polish very gently with a soft cloth. Otherwise, allow the surface to develop naturally with use.
