Description
Origin: Tongmu, Fujian, China
Elevation: 800–1200 m
Harvest: Spring
Amber Grace is a spring black tea from Tongmu, inside the Wuyishan National Nature Reserve in Fujian, China. The area is shaped by cool forested valleys, persistent mist and wide day–night temperature shifts, giving its black teas a clear, layered sweetness.
Tongmu is known as the birthplace of Zhengshan black tea, and is often associated with pine-smoked Lapsang. This tea takes a quieter path. It is unsmoked, allowing the place, the leaf and the craft to come forward more directly.
Through thorough rolling, full oxidation and gentle finishing bakes, Amber Grace becomes silky, honeyed and steady across multiple infusions. It carries the warmth we love in black tea, but with a clean finish and a sense of restraint — easy to love, and rewarding to return to.
